The crew of AS2F is made up of family. My father Doug who is 45 and after over 15 years of doing odd jobs on the side also worked for Robins Builders in Jackson, MI for right around 6 years. He also worked for a hotel remodeling company for about 3 years. And although I don't like to admit it he is the boss.
My 22 year old brother Jamie who was right by my dad and I on almost every single one of those odd jobs. He also worked for Wagner Construction and Legendary Floors for 8 years doing all different kinds of construction, but specializing in flooring.
Matthew, my brother in law, is 25 years old. His dad owns a company in Georgia called Webb 1 Construction. As his did built the company, Matthew was right next to him doing odd jobs while he wasn't in school. He knows a variety of odds n ends as he knows about the business aspect as well.
Kaleena, the eldest of my sisters, handles the office work, electronic communication, calling clients, etc. She is married to my brother in law Matthew and they have a 21 month old daughter Ashaya. One day she'll be in charge!
Michelle, my youngest sister, helps out when she is not at her job. She is 18 years old and she has been helping my mother and father since she was old enough to really know what the difference of helping and just giving them a hard time was.
Then you got me Doug Jr., I am 24 years old and have done most all types of construction. I worked for Robinson construction in Chattanooga, TN for 2 years. After that I worked with my dad on and off with the hotel renovation and remodeling. I have also worked for Harley's Home Improvement which is my cousin’s business and almost like an affiliate of our company. I also worked for a tile installer for 2 years learning all the tricks of the trade.
Some of the things that we do is kitchens and bathroom remodels such as new tile, counter tops, cabinets, sinks, toilets, or showers. We also do anything to do with walls suck as drywall, framing, ceilings, painting, texturing, or even stucco. We also do all types of floors such as tile, carpet, linoleum, epoxy, vinyl, and hardwood floors(pre-finished or natural). We also install anything from appliances to vanities.
